The classrooms empower students to quickly break into groups, move tables together or aside for project work space, and present to one another—in addition to the lecture format. By making flexible furniture and robust technology available throughout the day, the classroom's support efficient and fluid transitions between teaching modalities, learning activities and instructional practices.
Teacher Collaboration Model
Following the space use model of higher education, educators will have use of a Teacher Collaboration Workspace, which includes a workstation, personal storage space, and teaming areas. At the Elementary level, Core Studios may or may not be owned by a single teacher. At the Middle and High School level, Core Studios will be shared by a team of teachers, with space use determined collaboratively by the group.
