Individualized Education Program

Providing spaces to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Provide space needed to support Resource Specialists and families who have students enrolled in Individualized Education Programs (IEP's) or who need specialized academic support.

The Ed Specs serve to illustrate concepts that will inform the master plans based on OUSD's aspirations to the audience of future architects who will implement them as well as for OUSD stakeholders to understand the reasoning behind modernizations.

Individualized Learning

Is there space to support student-centered learning and Universal Design Learning (UDL)?

Technology Stations

Is there space to support 1:1 technology for every student in the district and amplify WIFI into local communities for all to access?

Break Out Spaces

Are there break out spaces to support students with special needs using an inclusionary pull-in approach?

Multi-purpose Conference Rooms

Are there conference rooms that can serve as both break out spaces and space for IEP meetings?

Proximity to Welcome Center

Locate support services adjacent to or nearby the Welcome Center and Administration. Direct exterior access to dedicated learner drop-off may be required.
